This is a little different from the other books. While the others are designed to hang from a wall or ceiling, this one is intended more as an obect. There are some ants and and ant hill installed on the sides of the book but the real show is inside. As you can see in the video, there is an illustration of a colony cut into the book itself.
All illustrations are done with India and acrylic ink on high quality drawing or watercolor paper. The book, The Year of the Ant, opens only to the page where the colony is revealed. The rest of the book is sealed.
